Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager
Job Description
- HOURS: 8 am – 5 pm
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKPLACE: In office. A hybrid work schedule may be considered based on experience level and training requirements.
- PAY: Depending on experience, the position can pay $70,000 - $90,000. This is a non-exempt role which means is pays hourly.

The Account Manager will be working with risks to include construction, manufacturers, distributors, property, habitational, restaurants, and more.
Duties can include, but are not limited to:
- Change requests
- Endorsements
- Renewals
- New Policies
- Policy Review
- Review policy, confirm insured has forms required for operations & Certificates on file
- Assist insureds with requests: review policies, coverages, changes, quotes.
- Assist, or manage, with a book of business to include servicing, reaching out to clients and/or carriers.
- Market/Quote renewals as needed via carrier portals or application submissions.
- Provide the insured with renewal quotes and bind coverage.
- Other duties as requested or needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience recently working as a CL Account Manager, or CL Customer Service Rep (CSR), working within an independent agency environment.
- The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- EPIC experience needed – intermediate t advanced level.
- Must have clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented.

Sharlene was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She enjoys traveling as well as spending time with her husband, their two Labs, family and friends.
