Bilingual Japanese Employee Benefits CSR needed for an expanding insurance agency! This position offers a hybrid work environment after training!
Join a dedicated team to assist with the daily servicing of Employee Benefits clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong customer service background looking for a career path, with room for growth, excellent benefits, and support to obtain and maintain your Life & Health Licenses! We are seeking candidates who can read, write, and speak Japanese at a professional level, with a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience for this role.

We are seeking candidates who can read, write, and speak Japanese at a professional level, with a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience for this role.
While the day-to-day may vary, typical service tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Managing service inbox
- Assist benefits members find providers (Health, Vision, Dental, etc.)
- Provide ID Cards
- Maintain and keep client files up to date
- Initiate claims submissions for members
- Assist with open enrollment documentation and processing
- Onboard current and new employees to benefits platform
Here are the key details:
- HOURS: Full-Time Hours, Monday to Friday
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKSITE: Onsite at the Torrance office during training, and hybrid once up and running.
- PAY: $50,000 - $59,000/Year depending on experience. For $55,000+, client is seeking candidates with 1 year of relevant insurance experience
- 4 medical options, including PPO/HSA with Anthem Blue Cross and HSA with sterling HSA
- Employer annual contribution to HSA: $1000 single/$2000 family (pro-rated)
- Employee contribution for Medical, Dental, and Vision: 18% for employee only, 35% of dependent premium
- Dental: Principal POS plan with $2000 max coverage
- Life/AD&D: Flat $20,000 coverage
- Voluntary Life: Up to $300,000 coverage
- Vision coverage
- LTD: 60% up to $6000 monthly benefit
- Voluntary benefits available with AFLAC: Cancer, Accident, Critical illness, Hospital, and more
- 401k with employer matching (eligibility after 1 year of employment)
- Bilingual Japanese/English abilities at a native, or certified JLPT N1 level. Must be able to read, write, and speak in Japanese at a professional level
- Ability to commute to Torrance, CA office daily in office during training, and 2 days a week thereafter
- 2+ years of recent customer service experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office experience including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Visa sponsorship is not available. W2 only
