COMMERCIAL LINES INSURANCE ACCOUNT MANAGER - Hybrid or Remote!
Job Description
• HOURS: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (lunch 12-noon -1 pm)
• DURATION: Direct Hire
• WORKSITE: Hybrid or Remote
-If the Account Manager lives in or near the area, a hybrid schedule can be discussed.
-If the Account Manager does not live within a reasonable distance of the area, a remote schedule will be offered.
• PAY: $70,000 per year, plus yearly bonus potential!
• BENEFITS: Employer pays 100% of the Health Insurance; Medical only. 401K Profit Sharing.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Book is approximately $800k – looking to grow to approximately $1.5 mil.
Book is a mix of Agency Bill Accounts and Bill Accounts.
• Must be very familiar with online quoting and know how to renew an agency billed account (collect all signatures, money, review endorsements/exclusions, etc.)
• Provide customer service to clients and assist with change requests, reporting claims, issuing auto ID's, issuing certificates of insurance, and more.
• Review policies/renewals and educate clients on coverages, endorsements and exclusions.
• Market accounts and prepare proposals.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and/or opportunities to enhance coverages if needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
• The qualified candidate must have a minimum three years, recent, experience working as a Commercial Lines Account Manager within an independent agency environment.
• Must have experience handling a sizeable book of business
• The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
• Technical knowledge of insurance terms and coverages.
• Must have knowledge quoting online with various carriers.
• Knowledge of TAM preferred.
