COMMERCIAL LINES INSURANCE CSR/ACCOUNT MANAGER - Small Business
Job Description
• HOURS: Full time hours; 8:30am to 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch
• DURATION: Direct Hire
• WORKSITE: In-office. Possible HYBRID schedule offered after 3-6 months.
• PAY: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
• BENEFITS: Employer pays 100% of the Health Insurance; Medical only. 401K Profit Sharing.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
The book will start off small (around $1M premium), but is expected to grow.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and assist with change requests, reporting claims, issuing auto ID's, issuing certificates of insurance, and more.
• Review policies/renewals and educate clients on coverages, endorsements and exclusions.
• Identify any coverage issues that need to be addressed.
• Market accounts and prepare proposals with high retention expectancy.
• Have a strong understanding of carrier markets and knowing how to navigate their portals.
• Follow agency's policies and procedures.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and/or opportunities to enhance coverages if needed.
• Ability to handle agency billed accounts and proposals; knowing what signatures to collect and how to prepare finance contracts.
REQUIREMENTS:
• The qualified candidate must have a minimum of four years, recent, experience working as a Commercial Lines CSR / Account Manager within an independent agency environment.
• The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
• Must know EPIC; Intermediate to Advanced level.
• Must know MS Office; Intermediate to Advanced level.
• Have a positive attitude and show professionalism with clients at all times.
