Job Description

Claims Analyst: Commercial Auto / Trucking Claims Adjuster needed for a large insurance brokerage in the Orange County area or California. REMOTE! 
  • HOURS: Flex schedule offered. Can start as early as 7 am or 8 am.
  • DURATION: This is a temporary position for approximately 6-9 months. 
  • WORKPLACE: Remote! Must reside in CA. There is the option to work in-office if preferred.
  • PAY: Hourly pay depends on experience, $30/hr. - $35/hr.
  • BENEFITS: Weekly payroll, direct deposit, online time entry, sick leave pay, and upon meeting eligibility: holiday pay, vacation pay and 401K Retirement Plan.

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Review the claim notice and policy to verify coverage, deductibles, confirm that the claim date falls within the coverage period.
  • Provide information on claim process to the insured.
  • Set reserves in compliance with the company policy.
  • Review bills, invoices and receipts for accuracy.
  • Assist with negotiating and settling the claim. Assist with resolving claims.
  • Maintain electronic files necessary for documentation of the claim file.

Requirements:
  • The qualified candidate must have recent experience processing Large Case Exposure Commercial Auto claims OR Trucking claims, within the past five years, and have a minimum of two years of experience.
  • Must have Complex Claims experience (cases are up to $200k)
  • Must have recent CA claims processing experience. 
  • Attention to detail and great oral and written communication skills.
 
  • Regular and consistent attendance as defined per Company policy.
  • Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods as well as the use of office equipment such as fax and copy machines, and telephones.
  • May be required to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must possess effective communication and listening skills such that complicated information can be communicated in a straight forward manner that the listener can understand, as well as paraphrasing and questioning to gain a complete understanding of the speakers concerns and goals.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, set goals and meet deadlines.
  • Must be a team player that possesses strong customer service and problem solving skills.
  • Must have a professional demeanor, be detail oriented, organized, highly ethical and have a positive attitude.
