Commercial Insurance Account Manager - Hybrid OR Remote!

• HOURS: Full time hours; 8am-5pm or 7:30am – 4:30pm or 8:30am – 5:30pm
• WORKSITE: Hybrid Preferred: Encino, CA (1-2 days in office)
- FULL REMOTE: the qualified AM must reside in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah or Washington (must be willing to work Monday-Friday, 8am – 5pm PST). Must hold an active CA P&C license.
• DURATION: Direct Hire
• PAY: $85,000 - $95,000, depending on experience
• BENEFITS: This client offers a full comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:
Working with 2 producers to grow their books of business, currently about 50 clients with150 policies and $9 MM premium, ensuring account retention and supporting new business. Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring no errors or omissions.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor reports and take action on delinquent accounts, collecting outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and maintain activity/suspense to ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
• Recent Independent Agency experience, minimum 3 years’, recently working as a Commercial AM.
• Active CA P&C License.
• Applied EPIC is mandatory.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Outstanding verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to perform large work volumes with high degrees of accuracy and attention to detail.
• PC proficiency, including basic knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Likes to work in a team environment.
• Self-motivated.
