Commercial Insurance Representative - Bilingual Japanese (Remote)

Commercial Insurance Representative needed for an Insurance Agency located in Torrance, CA. This position is remote for candidates who live in CA, NY, NJ, MA, MI, IL, and HI. Must be Bilingual Japanese/English for this role.

The Commercial Insurance Representative will work with the Commercial Department to ensure proper service and coverage for the insureds. This agency focuses on client care and fosters a team-oriented environment. The daily duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Processing certificates, endorsements, driver changes, and other policy changes of the insureds
• Assisting with new and renewal business marketing
• Policy checking
• Maintaining accurate insured files
• Preparing proposals
• Assisting Account Managers as needed

• HOURS:  8:00 am – 5:00 pm (PST)
• DURATION:  Direct Hire position.
• WORKSITE: This position is remote but you MUST live in NJ, MA, MI, IL, or HI and be Bilingual English/Japanese at a professional written and speaking level.
• PAY: $45,000 - $72,000, depending on experience.
  • For $65,000 - $72,000/year have 5+ years experience with Commercial Insurance Accounts in independent agency

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in commercial lines is required. Independent agency experience is highly preferred!
• An Active CA, NY, NJ, MA, MI, IL, or HI P&C license.
• Experience with Zywave is preferred
• Bilingual Japanese/English
• Solid commercial lines coverage knowledge.
• Ability to multi-task while providing superior client service.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Must be well organized and detail and service oriented.
