Commercial Lines Account Manager - Hybrid/Remote!
Job Description
- HOURS: 8 am to 5:30 pm
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKPLACE: Hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
- PAY: Depending on experience, $100,000 – 120,000 base salary. (To qualify for 110k base salary +, candidate MUST HAVE 5 years recent commercial lines account manager experience & EPIC!)

-Will assist 1 – 2 producers.
Job Duties can include, but are not limited to:
- Successfully complete Client Administrator duties, and backup as needed, for account servicing needs during the policy year including but not limited to: binders, certificates, evidence of property, auto ID cards, motor vehicle records, endorsements, invoicing, audits, claims, cancellations, policy checks, etc.
- Manage the new business and renewal process; review risk management surveys. Identify exposure to loss and advise client on appropriate coverages.
- Complete submissions to market new and renewal accounts to insurance carriers.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate coverage terms and pricing.
- Work with underwriters to obtain additional information from clients.
- Explain payment requirements to new and existing clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum five years’ experience recently working as a CL Account Manager, working within an independent agency environment.
- The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
- Stable job history needed. Meaning 3+ years at prior jobs held.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- EPIC experience preferred!
- Must be an effective communicator; both written and verbal.
- Have strong editing and writing skills.
- Must be organized, able to multi-task and work in a team environment.
