Commercial Lines Account Manager needed for an Insurance Agency located in Escondido – Remote!
 
  • HOURS:  Full-Time Hours, Mon-Fri, 8:00AM-5:00PM
  • DURATION:  Direct Hire or Temp to possible hire (Hiring manager is open to both options)
  • WORKPLACE: 100% Remote  
  • PAY:  $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
    • To qualify for $78,000 to $80,000 you must have a minimum of 8 years’ recent experience working as a CL Account Manager within an independent agency environment, stable job history and a strong knowledge of EPIC.

Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Account Manager will assist with a book of 3 - 4 million in premium and will include a Generalist book.
  • Day-to-day support of basic client questions and requests.
  • Assist with renewals and work with team to decide if marketing/additional coverages is warranted.
  • Attend key client meetings and provide follow up with clients and carriers to finalize strategy and renewal.
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Assist with employee claim issue resolution with insurance carriers.
  • Coordinate and prepare pre-renewal presentations/calls/meetings.
  • Analyze proposals and prepare renewal presentations.
  • Will assist with carrier negotiations.
  • Oversee certificate and basic policy review process.
  • Send out requests for proposal to insurance carriers and service providers.
  • Troubleshoot client issues and identify solutions with carrier and service partners.
  • Prepare/send/advise clients on basic policy gaps and potential compliance issues.
  • May be required to assist with training new staff.


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience recently working as a CL Account Manager, working within an independent agency environment.
  • The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • EPIC experience is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
