Commercial Lines CSR / CSR Assistant - Remote/Hybrid!

- HOURS: Flexible hours offers; 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm.
- Split shift also available (for example, you need to leave at 2 pm to pick up kids, you can finish your work schedule later in the afternoon or evening from home).
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKPLACE: Hybrid schedule offered after 4 weeks of training in office. Can then work two or three days from home each week. (If you are working a split-schedule, that would be your hybrid schedule).
- PAY: $55k - $65 per year, depending on experience.
- BENEFITS: This client offers a full comprehensive benefits package: to include medical, dental, and vision. They also have a 401(k) in place with a match. Unlimited PTO/Vacation upon approval.
Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Will be assisting with a book of business that consists of Construction risks, Manufacturing risks, and more. There are a lot of General Liability and Work Comp policies.
- Will be responsible for getting quotes and putting together proposals.
- Will assist the team through customer service, account retention, general back office support and other duties as assigned.
- Will work to ensure that client retention goals are met by responding promptly to requests from Sales Executive and/or Account Manager.
- Process Certificates of Insurance and Endorsements.
- Apply problem solving techniques to various issues concerning cancellations, claims, renewal issues, audits, carrier issues.
- Minimum of two years’ experience recently working as a CL CSR or CL CSR Assistant, working within an independent agency environment.
- The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
- Must know Commercial coverages and understand Commercial policies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Now Certs experience a plus, but not mandatory.
- Must have attention to detail!
- Strong written and communication skills.
