Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager - Hybrid/Remote!
Job Description
This agency is a generalist agency but they do focus on 5-6 verticals to include tech/software, life science, manufacturing, property, hospitality and construction.
- HOURS: 08:00 am – 05:00 pm
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKPLACE: Hybrid schedule offered.
- If the AM does not reside within a reasonable driving distance of the Carlsbad office, a Remote schedule will considered. (Must reside in California)
- PAY: $80k - $100k per year, depending on experience. Plus bonus/commission potential.
- To qualify for $90k - $100k the qualified candidate must have a minimum of 6 years’ experience working as a CL Account Manager within an independent agency environment, good job stability and have extensive Marketing and Underwriting experience in P&C lines and know EPIC!

Job duties will include, but are not limited to:
The Account Manager will be working with three Producers (2 new Producers) on Generalist book of business; $600k in revenue and growing!
Must be able to manage a book of business from A-Z to include marketing, surplus lines, quotes, rating, drafting proposals, processing endorsements, contract reviews, invoicing within EPIC, new business and renewal management, claims.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Maintain relationships with carrier partners and underwriters.
- Manage the renewal process and marketing of key accounts.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of renewal proposals, policies, and other deliverables.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience recently working as a CL Account Manager, working within an independent agency environment.
- The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- EPIC experience preferred.
