Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager - Hybrid Remote!
Job Description
- HOURS: 08:00 am – 05:00 pm, Monday - Friday
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKSITE: Hybrid Remote; 2 – 3 days each week working remote
- PAY: $85k - $100k, depending on experience

The Account Manager will be overseeing a $750,000 book, in revenue. Generalist book. Will assist two producers.
- While in this role, this person will begin to learn to manage a book of business under senior team member direction.
- Work with senior team members to prepare and send the request for endorsements to applicable insurance carriers.
- Communicate with Insured’s changes in premium and collection of endorsement down payment as well as establishing third party financing if applicable.
- Begin to participate in reviewing policies and carrier source documents for accuracy under the direction of the Account Executive or Advisor.
- Creates and maintains client files in accordance with office procedures. Will be responsible for keeping client policy records in the agency management system.
- Assists on some billing questions from clients and insurance company personnel with assistance from Accounting Dept. when necessary.
- Service client accounts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- The qualified candidate must have recent experience working as a Commercial Lines Account Manager in an independent agency environment, minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Must hold an active CA Property and Casualty license.
- Knowledge of Applied-EPIC is strongly preferred.
- Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be able to read, analyze and reconcile financial reports
- Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Sharp attention to detail, decision making skills, and problem resolution
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines and technology
