Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager - REMOTE / Hybrid!
Job Description
The Small Business Unit Account Manager independently handles their book of business 99% of the time.
It's a generalist book with a large policy count.
The qualified AM must be able to handle a $1.5 M book in revenue.
- HOURS: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKPLACE:
- Open to 100% Remote (must reside in CA and live outside of a reasonable driving distance to the office)
- Hybrid schedule (if the candidate lives within a reasonable distance of the office a hybrid schedule is preferred)
- In-office (option is available for someone who wants to work in office only)
- PAY: Depending on experience, $75,000 - $85,000 per year

Daily duties can include, but are not limited to:
Heading the renewal process (obtaining quotes, updating applications, gathering information from the Insured & negotiating with Underwriters), renewal presentation to Insured’s, marketing new business, requesting endorsements, answering/navigating coverage questions, creating proposals, corresponding & processing Insured requests and working with the Producer assisting their needs as needed.
Requirements: - Minimum of 5 years’ experience recently working as a CL Account Manager, working within an independent agency environment.
- The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
- EPIC experience is mandatory! Intermediate to Advanced level!
- Minimum three years recent EPIC experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Possess a basic knowledge of Commercial Insurance Contracts.
- Clear and written communication skills.
