Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager
Job Description
- HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- WORKSITE: In office. Client is open to discussing a hybrid schedule after training.
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- PAY: Depending on experience; $70,000 - $100,000 (non-exempt)
- BENEFITS: Client offers a full comprehensive benefits package to include: health, dental, vision and life. Simple IRA.
Job duties can include, but are not limited to:
- Assists with fostering the overall relationship with clients ensuring retention of book of business and high satisfaction.
- Provide day-to-day service to clients including, but not limited to, certificate issuance, endorsement processing, policy checking, billing inquiries, invoicing, and consultation. Managing book from A-Z.
- Collaborating with the Renewal and Customer Service Department to increase customer satisfaction.
- Continuously provide clear and professional verbal/written communication with Clients, carriers, and other internal team members.
- Assist with training new customer associate account managers as well as service agents and reps.
- Acts as a resource to others, with abilities to train.
- Stay informed on all internal processes, as well as carrier.
- Retain accounts through proactive customer service, expectation setting, and follow through.
- Performs special projects to accomplish the company’s overall goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience working as a Commercial Lines Account Manager.
- The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
- AMS-360 experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Must have clear verbal and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.

Sharlene was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She enjoys traveling as well as spending time with her husband, their two Labs, family and friends.
