Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager
Job Description
- HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKPLACE: Hybrid schedule offered after training; 2 remote days weekly.
- PAY: Depending on experience, the position can pay $80,000 - $125,000 per year.
- To qualify for $115,000 - $125,000, the Commercial AM must have a minimum of ten, plus, years recent experience working as a Commercial AM, know EPIC (intermediate to advanced level) and have strong Construction risk experience.

-Book size to be managed will depend on the team assigned too.
-Will assist one or more Producers.
-Educate clients about coverage, exclusions, and exposures and help clients make appropriate coverage changes.
-Assists in or designs insurance plans for clients.
-Provide Producer(s) with technical support.
-Participate in client meetings with Producer(s) as needed.
-Prepare Acord applications and submissions. Prepare proposals.
-Marketing including pre-qualifying new business.
-Analyze market quotes to verify coverage, forms, rates and competitiveness.
-Bind renewals and new business and renew policies in Agency Management System.
-Policy review and processing.
-Review insurance requirements for client contracts and review and resolve certificate deficiencies.
-Activity follow-up.
-Reporting claims and monitoring status until closed.
-Maintain relationship with clients.
-Complete other tasks as directed by Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
-The qualified candidate must have recent experience working as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, minimum five years, in an independent agency environment.
- Strong background in Construction Risk is preferred!
-Must hold an active CA Property and Casualty license.
-It is preferred the qualified candidate know Applied-EPIC, but will train.
-Must understand and analyze insurance coverage, forms and policies.
-Good written and oral communication skills.
-Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and self-confident.
