Commercial Lines Insurance Assistant needed for an Insurance Agency located in Orange County, CA! Hybrid Remote!
  • HOURS:  Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
  • DURATION:  Temp to possible Hire
  • WORKPLACE:  Hybrid Remote – 3 days remote; 2 days in office each week.
  • PAY:  $26.00/hr. - $28.85/hr.
  • BENEFITS:  Weekly payroll, direct deposit, online time entry, sick leave pay, and upon meeting eligibility: holiday pay, vacation pay and 401K Retirement Plan.

Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:
The CL Assistant will assist the team through customer service, account retention, general back office support and other duties as assigned. Will work to ensure that client retention goals are met by responding promptly to requests from Account Managers.
Will support 2 – 3 account managers!
  • Processing Certificates of Insurance.
  • Follow up with Carriers for receipt of endorsements.
  • Review and process endorsements and invoicing where necessary.
  • Ordering Loss Runs.
  • Entering applications into EPIC

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience recently working as a Commercial CSR Assistant, working within an independent agency environment.
  • The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • EPIC experience required. Must be at an intermediate to advanced level
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple projects.
  • Apply problem solving techniques to various issues concerning cancellations, claims, renewal issues, audits, carrier issues.
  • Regular and consistent attendance as defined per Company policy.
  • Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods as well as the use of office equipment such as fax and copy machines, and telephones.
  • May be required to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must possess effective communication and listening skills such that complicated information can be communicated in a straight-forward manner that the listener can understand, as well as paraphrasing and questioning to gain a complete understanding of the speakers concerns and goals.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, set goals and meet deadlines.
  • Must be a team player that possesses strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a professional demeanor, be detail oriented, organized, highly ethical and have a positive attitude.
