Commercial Lines Insurance CSR / Account Manager needed for an Insurance Agency located near Santa Cruz. – Remote! 
  • HOURS: Full-Time Hours, Mon-Fri, 8:30AM-5:00PM
  • DURATION: Direct Hire
  • WORKPLACE: Remote work offered. Must reside in CA! 
  • PAY: $65k - $75k per year, depending on experience.
  • BENEFITS: This client offers a full comprehensive benefits package to include medical, dental, 401(k), bonus pool program potential, 10 days PTO the first year and a car wash once a month (if you are at the office on that day).
The Account Manager will manage a book of small accounts to include agricultural (45% of the entire book), BOPS, and other varied risks. Book is $1.4 mil in premium. There is an Assistant to assist with processing certificates of insurance and loss runs.

Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Market new and renewal book of business including preparing submissions, submitting applications to carriers, negotiating rates and terms with underwriters, and analyzing coverage.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations.
  • Bind new and renewal insurance policies.
  • Provide prompt responses to customers’ questions, and manage customer change.
  • Review and check policies for accuracy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience recently working as a CL CSR / Account Manager, working within an independent agency environment.
  • The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
  • Knowledge of AMS-360; Intermediate to advanced level.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • A 4 year college degree is strongly preferred.
