COMMERCIAL LINES ASSISTANT ACCOUNT MANAGER
Job Description
- HOURS: 8 am – 5 pm
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKPLACE: In office only
- PAY: Depending on experience, the position can pay $66,500.00 - $72,800.00. This is a non-exempt role which means is pays hourly.

The Assistant Account Manager will be assisting several account managers. After training, the Assistant Account Manager will then be assigned to assisting one Account Manager.
Risks working with will include construction, manufacturers, distributors, property, habitational, restaurants, and more.
Duties can include, but are not limited to:
- Change requests
- Endorsements
- Renewals
- New Policies
- Policy Review
- Review policy, confirm insured has forms required for operations & Certificates on file
- Assist insureds with requests: review policies, coverages, changes, quotes.
- Assist Account Managers as needed with servicing, reaching out to clients and/or carriers.
- Market/Quote renewals as needed via carrier portals or application submissions.
- Work with Account Manager to provide insured with renewal quotes and bind coverage.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience recently working as a CL Assistant Account Manager, or CL Customer Service Rep (CSR), working within an independent agency environment.
- The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- EPIC experience needed – intermediate t advanced level.
- Must have clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented.
