Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager - HYBRID Remote!
Job Description
This is a very well established agency and has been around for over 50 years! Family owned with over 20 employees on board! This agency offers a very friendly and professional environment! This is not a high turn-over agency!
- HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKPLACE: After training in office and up and running, the agency is open to discussing a Hybrid schedule; 2 or 3 days remote work.
- PAY: $90,000- $100,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Duties can include, but are not limited to:
- Will assist one Producer with a growing generalist Commercial book of business; approximately $5 mil in premium.
- Documenting! Everything is documented and this is very important for this role!
- Market, review and prepare quotes/renewals for proposal
- Discuss and review coverage with clients
- Complete acord applications (New Business and Renewals)
- Complete supplementals (New Business and Renewals)
- Attach email communications to Agency Management System (Nexsure)
- Follow up with clients on requested underwriting documents
- Submit bind orders and follow up for policies
- Review policies and process in Agency Management System (Nexsure)
- Handle audit disputes
- Handle inspection recommendations
- Process Direct Bill and Agency Bill Renewals
- Discuss and process endorsements
- Certificate back up
- Follow up on open claims
REQUIREMENTS:
- The qualified candidate must have recent experience working as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, minimum five years, in an independent agency environment.
- Must hold an active CA Property and Casualty license.
- Must be very detailed and able to multi-task!
- Documenting is very important for this role. Must be comfortable with this process!
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and self-confident.
- Nexsure agency management experience is a plus. Client will train!
