Commercial Lines Account Executive - HYBRID/REMOTE!
Job Description
This position reports directly to the President and will have the authority to manage and grow this agency! This is a career-growth opportunity with the potential for future equity in the agency for the right candidate. Responsibilities include: ultimately managing the support team, providing marketing direction, handling carrier appointments. In summary, this position will run the agency and is expected to drive both growth and profitability.
HOURS: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
WORKSITE:
- Hybrid schedule (preferred for candidates living within a reasonable distance of the office)
- In-office (option available for someone who wants to work in office only)
PAY: $150,000 - $200,000 depending on experience, plus bonus plan
Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing monthly production and activity reports
- Managing/collecting receivables in conjunction with the Client Sales Executive
- Meeting regularly with the Client Sales Executive to update, advise, and inform
- Coordinating activities on accounts
- Reviewing and delivering summaries, proposals, and policies
- Leading, presenting, and participating in meetings with clients
- Maintaining current Insurance Summaries on all accounts
- Updating Certificates of Insurance (COWs) annually on all accounts
- Delivering binders and invoices
- Initiating client contact and orchestrating renewal strategy meetings
- Gathering renewal underwriting information
- Overseeing the process of preparing and updating underwriting specifications
- 5–7+ years of prior insurance experience as a successful Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager or Account Executive in an Independent agency, with client management experience. Team lead experience is a plus
- College degree preferred
- Active CA Property & Casualty license required
- Proficiency in Windows-based software applications and basic typing skills
