Insurance Certificates Coordinator / Insurance Coordinator needed for a Construction firm located in Long Beach, CA
 
  • HOURS: Full time hours, 8 hours a day. Can be flexible with start time.
  • DURATION: Temporary position to start.
  • WORKPLACE: In office only. 
  • PAY: Depending on experience, $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
  • BENEFITS: Weekly pay

Job duties can include, but are not limited to:
This position will be responsible for reviewing certificates of Insurance from their Subcontractors that have been rejected from their automated system.  Must be able to review insurance requirements and compare to what sub-contractor has in place and find discrepancies and reach out to subs or their agents to get certificates that meet their insurance requirements.   
• Respond promptly to compliance inquiries from project teams, ensuring accurate and thorough answers.
• Analyze and interpret compliance data and policies to offer clear guidance.
• Track, monitor, and prioritize incoming requests to meet response deadlines.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex issues and improve processes.
• Maintain detailed records of inquiries and resolutions.



Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience recently working as a Certificates Processor, working within an independent agency environment.
• Must have basic understanding of insurance requirements in a contract and what’s requested to generate certificate.
• Must be able to review and respond within 24 hours of certificate being rejected.
• Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• An active CA Property/Casualty license is a plus but not required. 

 
  • Regular and consistent attendance as defined per Company policy.
  • Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods as well as the use of office equipment such as fax and copy machines, and telephones.
  • May be required to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must possess effective communication and listening skills such that complicated information can be communicated in a straight-forward manner that the listener can understand, as well as paraphrasing and questioning to gain a complete understanding of the speakers concerns and goals.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, set goals and meet deadlines.
  • Must be a team player that possesses strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a professional demeanor, be detail oriented, organized, highly ethical and have a positive attitude.
  • Legal residents of California only. Visa Sponsorship not available. W2 only.
