Commercial Lines CSR/Account Manager
Job Description
Account Manager wanted, but if you are a CSR looking for the next step in your career, this agency is also open to training a CSR to be an Account Manager!
- HOURS: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 am – 5 pm (1 hour lunch) and Friday 9 am – 4:30 pm (1 hour lunch)
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKPLACE: In office
- PAY: $70,000 to $85,000 depending on experience
- To qualify for $80k, plus, the Commercial AM must have a minimum of 3 years recent experience and know AMS 360. (intermediate to advanced level).
- BENEFITS: This client offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance with the employer covering part of the cost
-The CSR / Account Manager will assist on a Commercial book of business, $2.5 mil in premium.
-The book consists of Lessors Risks and Apartments. This specific experience is not a must, but the CSR/AM must have CL package and BOPs experience. Will also work with EPLI, D&O and E&O.
- Client Servicing
- Communicating with prospects, clients, and underwriters via telephone and e-mail
- Presentation of quotes and proposals for new business and renewals
- Review policies, identify deficiencies and determine appropriate level of coverage
- Manage renewal process
- Create certificates of insurance, endorsement requests and binders
- Online rating with multiple carriers
- Completion of Acord applications
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience recently working as a CL CSR / Account Manager, working within an independent agency environment.
- The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- AMS 360 is preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and offer excellent customer service at all times!
- Must have clear and written communication skills.
