Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager
Job Description
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and servicing commercial insurance accounts, handling day-to-day service requests, and ensuring all insureds' needs are met efficiently. This role requires in-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with carriers, brokers, and clients to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- HOURS: Monday – Friday; 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
- Some overtime during heavy renewal months!
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKPLACE: This is an in-office position
- PAY: Depending on experience, this position can pay $75,000 - $120,000.
- To qualify for $75k - $85k, the qualified candidate will need to have 3 - 5 years recent experience.
- To qualify for $95k - $120k, the qualified candidate will need to have 7 - 10 years recent experience.

Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:
The book consists of mostly Garage Liability, working with Auto Dealerships! Must be familiar with this type of risk.
???????Book of business is approximately $15m - $20m in premium.
- Prepares presentation books and verifies accuracy of all content including but limited to Contact Page, Garage Liability Executive Summary Report, Garage Liability Loss Analysis Report, Garage Liability Claim Status Report, Workers’ Compensation Loss Analysis Report, Workers’ Compensation Claims Status Reports, MVR Report, Bond Report and Policy Coverage Overview Report (PCO).
- Prepares and forwards Auto ID Cards and Wallet Passes upon renewal or insured request.
- Handle all Carrier Loss Control requests.
- Run Motor Vehicle Reports, as necessary.
- Ensures Certificates of Insurance are submitted to the respective holders/vendors upon renewal and or as requested during the policy period.
- Manage monthly insured vehicle registration schedules.
- Process all required annual bonds and reviews bond renewal reports to ensure accuracy.
- Reviews and understands the insureds exposure and ensures all necessary information is received from the insureds per endorsement request.
- Manages and collaborates with the overseas service team.
Requirements:
- The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook and type 50-60 wpm.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of recent experience working as a Commercial Account Manager.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance policies, policy structures and endorsements.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Personal policy experience a plus
