Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager needed for an Insurance Agency located in Scottsdale, AZ - Hybrid Remote!

  • HOURS:  Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 04:00 pm
  • DURATION:  Direct Hire
  • WORKPLACE:  A Hybrid Remote role will be offered after training in office and up and running. Open to discussing 2 – 3 days working remote.
  • PAY:  $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
    • To qualify for $80,000 per year, the qualified candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a CL Account Manager within an independent agency environment, with the focus being in Workers Compensation and/or Contractors, and offer stable job history (meaning 3-4 years minimum at current and/or prior jobs)

Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:
The Commercial Account Manager will oversee a high-volume Generalist book of business consisting primarily of Contractor/Construction and Workers’ Compensation policies.
This role manages approximately 1,600 policies with an average premium of $10,000 per policy, ranging from $500 BOPs to large Workers’ Compensation accounts exceeding six figures.
Working primarily with small commercial accounts, the Account Manager will be responsible for managing the full account lifecycle from A to Z, serving as the primary point of contact for clients while ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and service a diverse Commercial Lines book, with emphasis on Contractor/Construction and Workers’ Compensation policies
  • Process Certificates of Insurance accurately and in a timely manner
  • Handle policy endorsements, including additions, deletions, and coverage changes
  • Prepare and process binders, policies, audits and cancellations
  • Provide prompt, professional, and solution-oriented customer service to clients
  • Respond quickly to client and carrier inquiries via phone and email
  • Review policies for accuracy, coverage, and compliance with client requirements
  • Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to resolve service issues
  • Assist with renewals, including gathering updated information, reviewing quotes, and preparing renewal documentation
  • Maintain organized and accurate account documentation within the agency management system
  • Proactively identify coverage gaps, changes in risk exposure, or service needs
  • Support producers as needed with account servicing and follow-up
  • Other duties as needed and requested


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience recently working as a CL Account Manager, working within an independent agency environment.
  • The qualified candidate must hold an active AZ Property/Casualty license.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • EZLynx experience a plus.
