Job Description
LOCATION: The Woodlands, TX
HOURS: 9 am to 5 pm
DURATION: Direct Hire
WORKPLACE: In Office
PAY: $75,000 – $120,000 base salary + Annual Bonus
BENEFITS: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k with employer match, and paid time off
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the New Business team within the Operations Center.
- Lead, coach, and develop the team to achieve and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Point of escalation for operational, HR, and commission-related matters.
- Work with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that support growth and process efficiency.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of life, annuity, LTC, and disability applications.
- Manage large commission approvals for advisors.
- Maintain proactive relationships with Partners, Advisors, Carriers, and Vendors.
- Plan and manage workflow distribution across the team to ensure efficiency.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain policies, procedures, training, and resource documentation.
- Partner with other Operations Centers and departments to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Prepare operational reports for leadership and advisors.
- 5–7+ years of leadership experience within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of life insurance and annuity operations.
- Proven experience managing high-volume business processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with paperless workflows.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of implementing process improvements.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
