Sr. Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Description
- HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am -5:00 pm
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKPLACE: Hybrid Remote schedule offered; three days working remote, two days in office.
- PAY: Depending on experience, this position can pay up to $145,000.00, plus bonus potential.

Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:
This role requires strong financial acumen, client-facing confidence, and the ability to support complex, middle-market large self-funded accounts.
Book is approximately $5M in revenue; under 20 accounts; average client size is 2,500 lives.
The Producer on this book is well liked by the team!
- Support strategic management of complex, large self-funded client accounts.
- Work closely with the team Consultant/AE on account strategy and execution.
- Participate in and present during client meetings - Irvine, CA.
- Provide proactive recommendations and solutions to clients.
- Assist with financial analysis, renewals, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal resources to ensure timely deliverables and high client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have recent experience working with self-funded accounts within an Independent Agency environment.
- Must hold an active CA Life/Health license.
- EPIC experience a plus!
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines independently.

Sharlene was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She enjoys traveling as well as spending time with her husband, their two Labs, family and friends.
