Employee Benefits Assistant needed for growing Insurance Agency in Los Angeles!
This position is a great opportunity for someone seeking a career within Employee Benefits. This client offers a team-oriented environment, Friday lunches provided, and excellent benefits, including a fantastic 401(k) plan!
In this role, you will join the dedicated Account Manager to help service the clients and their employees day-to-day needs, including but not limited to:
  • New hire onboarding
  • Termination of benefits
  • Updating new benefits platform, Employee Navigator, to reflect accurate records
  • Assist Account Manager with upcoming renewals, including preparing presentation PowerPoints, and other documentation needed for these meetings
  • Be an advocate for clients with their claims and concerns, reaching out to the carrier to help resolve issues
  • Correspond with clients and their employees via email and telephone
  • Billing and claims assistance
Key Details
  • HOURS:  Full-Time Hours, Mon-Fri, 8:00AM-5:00PM with 1-hour non-paid lunch break
  • WORKSITE: Due to client meetings, this is a full time in office role in Los Angeles
  • DURATION:  Direct Hire
  • PAY:  $60,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • BENEFITS:  This client offers a full comprehensive benefits package to include medical, dental, life insurance, 401K, PTO
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills & requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of either individual or group benefit experience including Health, Vision, and Dental
  • 3+ years of administrative experience within an office environment
  • Life & Health Licenses preferred – this client will help you obtain your licenses!
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Must be able to create spreadsheets in Excel and presentation media in PowerPoint
  • Experience with Ease or Employee Navigator is a plus!
