Life / Health Insurance CSR, Bilingual!

Job Description
- HOURS: Full time hours, 9 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Saturday
- 5 day work schedule to be discussed
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKPLACE: In-office only.
- PAY: $40k - $50k per year, depending on experience.
- To qualify for $45k - $50k, the qualified candidate must have a minimum one year recent experience working as a CSR in the Life and Health field and also hold an active CA Life/Health license.
- Assist customers calling in with questions, etc. Utilizing benefit summaries and other materials, answer member questions at open Enrollment or throughout the year.
- Assist with issues and provide best resolution.
- Offer excellent customer service at all times and commitments made to the customer.
- File and maintain data organization and accuracy in all company system.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience recently working as a CSR, or Admin, in the Life / Health field, working with individual insurance products.
- If you do not have this experience, but have a strong Administrative background and would like to learn, the agency will consider training for the role.
- Must be Bilingual in Mandarin OR Cantonese OR Spanish.
- Life/Health license (desired – not required, but must be able to obtain within 3 months of hire date).
- Will need to have clear communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Legal residents of one of the following states: CA. Visa Sponsorship Not Available, W2 only.
