Job Description
- DURATION: Direct-Hire, Full-time
- HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday
- WORKPLACE: Onsite in Mission Valley
- PAY: $25.00-$28.00 per hour, DOE

JOB DUTIES will include, but are not limited to:
- Customer Service, correspondence with clients and insurance companies and other support as needed for producers.
- Write Medicare plans for incoming prospects/current clients and referrals.
- Assist in the submission of applications to underwriting, follow up with insurance companies to check on status and customer service on existing policies.
- Run quotes and proposals.
- Maintain database, logs and other correspondence with accuracy.
- Research claims, underwriting follow-up and other customer service issues.
QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to:
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ recent experience working with Medicare plans OR experience working with health/group plans within an Insurance Brokerage.
- The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Life/Health license.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Possess professional phone/customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalency of, at minimum.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be detailed, able to meet deadlines and demonstrate the ability to work independently.

Sharlene was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She enjoys traveling as well as spending time with her husband, their two Labs, family and friends.
