Job Description

Medicare and Small Group CSR needed for an Insurance Agency located in La Mesa, CA
  • HOURSPart time or Full time hours offered.
  • DURATION:  Direct Hire
  • WORKPLACEWill consider 100% remote work for someone who does not reside near the La Mesa office.
  • PAY:  $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • BENEFITS:  This client offers a full comprehensive benefits package: to include Medical offered (the agency pays a portion of the benefits for the employee). Dental and Vision (the agency pays 100% for each for the employee)
Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- The position would entail answering the main office phone and routing calls to the appropriate department. 
- Learn and manage the agency AMS system called AgencyBloc.
- Document, follow up and update customer and broker records based on interaction in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot, assist, and resolve client and broker questions.
- Understand and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services in the Medicare space.
- Provide assistance with office and policy administration to renewal preparation, cross-selling and marketing coordination using AgencyBloc CRM system.
- Handling service requests, processing applications and answering incoming emails and phone calls.
- Assist broker in prospecting / generating new business through leads and referrals from COI’s, Physician offices.
- Passionate about working with Seniors.


Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of  experience recently working in Small Group and Individual Medicare  benefits within an Insurance Agency environment.
- The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Life/Health license.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Possess professional phone/customer service skills
