PERSONAL LINES INSURANCE ACCOUNT MANAGER, with EPIC experience, needed for an established insurance agency located in San Diego
  • HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • DURATION: Temporary for approximately 3 – 4 months.
  • WORKPLACE: If the candidate does not live within a reasonable driving distance of the office, REMOTE work will be offered. Must reside in CA. 
  • PAY: $35.00 per hour
  • BENEFITS: Weekly payroll, direct deposit, online time entry, sick leave pay, and upon meeting eligibility: holiday pay, vacation pay and 401K Retirement Plan.

Job Duties will include but are not limited to:
The Account Manager is responsible for account support at the direction of senior team members. The Account Manager provides customer service by handling the day-to-day operations of clients' insurance need and works with various team members to deliver proper insurance and risk management services for clients.
- Maintains accurate client information to provide day-to-day client support and address intermediate-level client inquiries.
- Assists in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel.
- Maintains files with proper records according to company procedures.
- Ensures accuracy of account information for new and renewal policies in accordance with client requests, processing change requests and endorsement checking, addressing proper exposures for policy rating, completing coverage reviews and gap analysis, and accurately transacting agency bill policies.
- Reviews all accounts receivable and policy cancellation notices..
- Secures documentation needed to be retained by the agency including signed applications, replacement cost estimates, rejection of coverage and confirmation of
- Leverages technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received in a timely fashion; Reviews quotes for gaps and assists with inquiries from the carrier.
- Other duties as assigned.

- The qualified candidate must have recent experience working as a PL Account Manager within an Independent Agency environment; minimum three years’ experience.
- Must hold an active CA Property and Casualty license.
- Must know EPIC and be at an Intermediate to Advanced level.
- Must know MS office and be at an Intermediate to Advanced level using Word and Outlook.
- Must have working knowledge of available Personal Lines coverages based on business and industry.
- Proficient in providing client service through electronic, telephone, and in-person interaction.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Regular and consistent attendance as defined per Company policy.
  • Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods as well as the use of office equipment such as fax and copy machines, and telephones.
  • May be required to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must possess effective communication and listening skills such that complicated information can be communicated in a straight-forward manner that the listener can understand, as well as paraphrasing and questioning to gain a complete understanding of the speakers concerns and goals.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, set goals and meet deadlines.
  • Must be a team player that possesses strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a professional demeanor, be detail oriented, organized, highly ethical and have a positive attitude.
