Job Description

Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative needed for a team-oriented environment in New York, NY! Must be Bilingual English/Japanese.
This is a friendly, no drama work environment where all team members work together to provide a superior client experience. Together with the Personal Lines Department, you will work to care for the insureds needs, including but not limited to:

  • Preparing supplemental and ACORD applications
  • Quoting Personal Lines policies online, including Homeowners, Auto, Umbrella
  • Processing policy changes, EOIs, mortgagee clause changes, auto ID cards
  • Assist with billing, notices of cancellations, remarketing, claims submissions, providing coverage advice, and other daily needs of the insureds
  • Assist with upselling or cross selling from time-to-time
  • Building and maintaining interdepartmental, client, and carrier relationships
  • HOURS:  8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • DURATION:  Direct Hire position.
  • WORKSITE: This is an in-office role to start. After training, they are open to hybrid flexibility.
  • PAY:  Depending on experience, $50,000 - $65,000/year
    • To qualify for $60,000+, you must have 2+ years of recent independent agency experience managing Personal Insurance accounts
  • BENEFITS:  This client offers benefits to include Health and 401k.
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following requirements:
  • Recent experience working in Personal Lines insurance as a CSR or Account Manager on Homeowners, Auto, Umbrella, Renters, RV, Boat, etc. coverage. Minimum of 1 year within an
  • Bilingual English/Japanese at a professional level, being able to clearly communicate, verbally and written, to clients about their insurance policies insurance agency
  • Active New York P&C Licenses
  • Able to come into New York, NY office on a daily basis during training
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint with aptitude to learn new systems. Full use of Zywave system is a plus.
