Job Description

Personal Lines Account Manager / Manager, with Applied-EPIC experience, needed for an Insurance Agency located in San Diego, CA. REMOTE!

- Must have recent High Net Worth (HNW) experience. 
- Will be working with all lines of Personal Lines Insurance.
- The qualified candidate must have Management experience, overseeing a minimum team of 5, as well as experience building structure and driving process alignment across the team. This includes process design, systems development, training programs, auditing, and data-driven accountability.


•              HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
•              DURATION: Direct Hire
•              WORKPLACE: 100% Remote work offered. Must reside in CA.
  • If you prefer to work in-office or a hybrid schedule, there is that option.
  • If you reside within a reasonable distance of the office, a Hybrid schedule is preferred.
•              PAY: Depending on experience, this position can pay $110,000 - $130,000 per year.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
In addition to managing your assigned book of business, you will lead, mentor, and support the PL team.
•              Responsible for managing ongoing client service activities and ensuring account retention.
•              Drive business retention by effectively managing client relationships and providing value-added services. 
•              Build strong, trusting relationships with clients.
•              Ensure accuracy and compliance in all client files, invoicing, and policy documents.
•              Present renewal outcomes and proposals to clients promptly, making recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
•              Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client activities in the Agency Management System.
•              Act as the bridge between senior leadership and frontline teams, facilitating constructive feedback loops and ensuring alignment.
•              Monitor daily activities of the team, including workload balance, quality, and service standards; provide training and corrective actions as needed.
•              Guide the Team in addressing routine client concerns and resolve escalated or complex issues.
•              Conduct regular one-on-one reviews and deliver annual performance reviews with constructive feedback.
•              Monitor and oversee PTO for the team; approve requests and arrange coverage as needed.
•              Maintain key carrier relationships within the Personal Lines division.


Requirements:
•              Minimum of 7 years’ minimum experience recently working as a Personal Lines Account Manager. Will need to have HNW experience and Management experience, working within an independent agency environment.
•              The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
•              Familiarity with the Personal Lines marketplace, including coverages (home, auto, umbrella, specialty), underwriting, carrier guidelines, and broker/agency operations in multiple states, specifically California.
•              Current knowledge of state legislation and compliance requirements impacting Personal Lines.
•              Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
•              EPIC experience a must; intermediate to advanced level.
•              Have good verbal and written communication skills for both client and internal communication.
