Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager
Job Description
- HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (hours can be 32 - 40 hours per week)
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKPLACE: In office only.
- PAY: Depending on experience, $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
- This position is non-exempt (hourly)

Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:

The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for supporting the Production staff in their servicing of personal lines clients and prospects.
- Gathers information for the renewal of designated accounts sixty (60) to ninety (90) days prior to renewal;
- Prepares proposals for new and existing clients;
- Remarketing of existing client accounts as needed
- Processes client requests for certificates/evidences of insurance in a timely manner;
- Binds policies;
- Prepares premium finance agreements;
- Manages submissions to insurers, including application preparation; and
- Onboards new accounts, manages the quote renewal process, and keep clients informed on any delays.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Personal Lines CSR or Account Manager.
- Must have experience working with PL Home, Auto, Umbrella, etc.
- The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Must be an effective communicator; both written and verbal.
- Have strong editing and writing skills.
- Must be organized, able to multi-task and work in a team environment.
