Personal Lines Insurance CSR / Sales Rep
Job Description
HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm (1 hour lunch)
DURATION: Direct Hire
WORKPLACE: Hybrid schedule offered; in office on Tuesdays and Thursdays only (after approximately 2-3 weeks in office for training).
PAY: Depending on experience, the position can pay $60k - $70k.
- There is no quota to meet for sales.
- Commission potential for own leads brough in (IE: friends, family).
- New Business incentive offered per policy written.

The PL CSR / Sales Rep will be managing a book of business approximately $2.3 mil in premium. Book consists mostly of Home and Auto policies.
This role is stronger in service than sales, currently. This can change depending on current staff, networking, that could turn into more leads!
Will work with carriers to include: Progressive, Safeco, CA Fair Plan, partners thru First Connect, JE Brown and AmWins.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience recently working as a PL CSR / Sales Rep, working within an independent agency environment.
- The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property/Casualty license.
- Must know Mercury!
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- AMS-360 experience preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented, can multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
