Job Description
Our client is a large Public Adjusting Firm and they are looking for a Property Desk Adjuster / Assistant to work in their Newport Beach office.
They have a great reputation in the Industry and are known for their Customer Service.
- HOURS: Full-Time Hours, Mon-Fri, 8:00AM-5:00PM
- DURATION: Direct Hire
- WORKPLACE: This is an in-office position
- PAY: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Potential to earn incentives and over-time pay.

Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:
The Property Adjuster / Assistant will liaise with multiple parties, including insurers, clients, and internal teams, to maintain clear communication lines and support the seamless progression of claims.
This role involves reviewing case documentation, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating schedules to ensure critical deadlines are met.
- Coordination and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Public Adjusters and other team members throughout the claims process, ensuring coordination and efficient completion of assigned tasks.
- Diary System Management: Maintain and oversee a structured diary system to ensure all assigned tasks are completed on schedule. Track incomplete tasks,
set follow-up reminders, and ensure timely resolution.
- Case Organization and Documentation: Ensure all assigned tasks are thoroughly documented within claim files, with all relevant supporting documentation accurately organized and properly attached to the claim file.
- Site Inspection Facilitation: Conduct site inspections on behalf of Public Adjusters or other team members as needed.
- Correspondence and Communication: Engage with clients, insurers, vendors, and other stakeholders to gather and share information, address inquiries,
handle requests, and coordinate scheduling for various claim-related matters.
- Proactive Problem Solver: Consistently demonstrate a value-driven approach by identifying additional tasks or issues within assigned files that require
attention. Outline a clear and detailed action plan to address and resolve.
- Independent Quality Control: Maintain a high standard of quality across all aspects of the role by ensuring that documentation, details, and updates are
consistently accurate, complete, and aligned with company standards, fostering excellence in claims management and overall performance.
Requirements:
- Will possess strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to direct and coordinate effectively, and exceptional communication capabilities.
- Must know Xactimate; intermediate to advanced level.
- Ability to obtain proper licensing as required.
- 2-4 years of experience in claims.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
- Familiarity with claims management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, and proactive in identifying issues and proposing actionable solutions.
