Sr. Commercial Account Manager needed for an Insurance Agency located in San Diego CA. Hybrid!
Job Description
Book Focus = Generalist w/ a focus on Construction
• HOURS: Full time hours; 8am-5pm or 7:30am – 4:30pm or 8:30am – 5:30pm
• WORKSITE: Hybrid Preferred: San Diego, CA (1-2 days in office)
• DURATION: Direct Hire
• PAY: $85,000 - $105,000, depending on experience
• BENEFITS: This client offers a full comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:
-Book Focus: Generalist with a focus on Construction.
-Approximately 40 clients range in size from $10K to $115K in revenue.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor reports and take action on delinquent accounts, collecting outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and maintain activity/suspense
Requirements:
• Recent Independent Agency experience, minimum 5-7 years’, recently working as a Sr. Commercial Lines Account Manager.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active CA P&C License.
• Applied EPIC is mandatory.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Outstanding verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to perform large work volumes with high degrees of accuracy and attention to detail.
• PC proficiency, including basic knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Likes to work in a team environment.
• Self-motivated.
