Job Description :
EMPLOYEE BENEFITS ACCOUNT MANAGER / Department Lead needed for an insurance agency located in the Mission Valley area.



- This is a Direct Hire position.

- Depending on experience, the Account Manager/Department Lead position will pay $90k - $110k.



The Employee Benefits Account Manager/Department Lead must have recent experience managing a team / overseeing an employee benefits department. Someone with this experience will manage a smaller employee benefits book of business while overseeing the team. 

 


The Account Manager will work with multiple producers, assisting with small and large group benefits. Must be an expert with all lines of Employee Benefits and technically savvy. 

 


 


Required Qualifications :

The qualified candidate will have seven-plus years of recent experience working in an Independent Agency environment, in Employee Benefits, working as a team lead or overseeing an employee benefits department while managing a book of business. 


 


The qualified candidate must have worked with small group benefits. 


Large group experience is a plus. 


 


An active Life/Health license is required.
