Job Description :
EMPLOYEE BENEFITS ACCOUNT MANAGER / Department Lead needed for a firm located in the Mission Valley area.

- This is a Direct Hire position.

- Depending on experience, the Account Manager position will pay $65k - $75k.

- If the Account Manager also has recent experience managing a team / overseeing an employee benefits department, that is a plus. Someone with this experience will manage a smaller book of business while overseeing the team. Depending on experience, this position can pay up to $90k, but to be considered for the higher pay range of $90k, the qualified candidate must have ten-plus years of recent experience working in an Independent Agency environment, in Employee Benefits. 

The Account Manager will work with multiple producers, assisting with small and large group benefits. Must be an expert with all lines of Employee Benefits and technically savvy.

Required Qualifications :

The qualified candidate must have a minimum of five plus years, recent experience, working as an Employee Benefits Account Manager within an Insurance Brokerage / Agency. 


The qualified candidate must have worked with small group benefits. 

Large group experience is a plus. 


An active Life/Health license is required.
